<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of difficulty in drawing pedestrians' attention to the approach of a vehicle including a motor generator 10 as an onboard main machine. <P>SOLUTION: When the difference between predicted currents ide, iqe and command currents idr, iqr corresponding to respective voltage vectors Vi (i=0 to 7) is smaller, an evaluation function J of an operational state determination unit 34 gives a higher evaluation to the corresponding voltage vector. The voltage vector given the highest evaluation by the evaluation function J is defined as a next operational state.
