<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain delay due to relay when the communication speeds before and after the relay are different. <P>SOLUTION: A relay device 2 transmits data received from a communication device (a relay device 1) to a different communication device (a relay device 3). A transmission frame length calculation device 22 calculates and notifies the sent payload length when the frame is split and transmitted. A transmission start timing notification device 23 notifies the transmission start timing of the frame.
