<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power-assisted bicycle allowing the mounting position of battery holders to be lowered as compared with a conventional electric power-assisted bicycle. <P>SOLUTION: The electric power-assisted bicycle 1 assists pressing-down force on a pedal 23 by a motor 40 driven with a battery 41 as an electric power source. A space between a seat tube 12 of a frame 10 and a rear wheel 20 is set as a battery arrangement space, and the upper battery holder 60 and the lower battery holder 61 for supporting a battery case 42 containing the battery 41 are mounted to the rear face of the seat tube 12. A chain stay 22 extending backward from the lower end of the seat tube 12 has a bending shape inclining to lower backward at the first, in which the degree of lowering backward decreases or becomes rising backward from the middle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
