PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of cutting cylindrical portions of fingerstalls formed by a dipping method and covering columnar dipping formers by a cutter which are arranged almost vertically in their directions of flows, by which openings are cut linearly in an easy and secure manner and which enables a long period of cutting operation with a low frequency of cutter replacement.
SOLUTION: Dipping formers 18 are arranged so that their base end sides can be swung vertically and rotated around the axes of their cylindrical shapes. A cutter 25 of an approximate oblong plate shape is tilted so that its downstream side in a flow direction X is located at the upside in a side view and that a downstream side portion 25c approaches a chain 17 as it goes further downstream in a plan view. The dipping formers are placed on the cutter and are moved toward the downstream side while being rotated. In this process, the dipping formers are cut spirally from a cutting start position a toward the front ends of the dipping formers, and are cut toward the base ends of the dipping formers on the downstream side of the cutter. Cutting lines are crossed after cutting at the cutting start position a to cut the cylindrical portions circularly.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
