<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine configured such that even when a symbol display device with a large-sized liquid crystal unit is installed, the malfunction of the liquid crystal unit, which is caused by impact or the like, is inhibited from being generated. <P>SOLUTION: As shown in Fig.4, the symbol display device 25 includes: the liquid crystal unit 29 having a large-sized liquid crystal panel; and a housing 30 for mounting the liquid crystal unit 29 on the back side of a plywood member 21. The liquid crystal unit 29 is incorporated into the housing 30 through an impact absorbing member 31. The impact absorbing member 31 is obtained by forming an ester-based polymer, a halogenated polymer, or a mixture thereof, or a thermoplastic elastomer of modified ester-based or halogenated polymer, into a thin plate shape (e.g., approximate 2 mm thickness), and the impact absorbing member is bonded on the lower surface of the liquid crystal unit 29. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
