摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform highly accurate NRF analysis by a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: An electron beam 112 accelerated up to high energy by an electron accelerator 111 is radiated in a right direction in the figure. On the other hand, a laser beam 13 emitted by a laser light source 12 is set so as to be transmitted through a rotary wavelength plate 14, reflected by a reflector 113, and frontally collide with a high energy electron in the electron beam 112. The laser beam 13 is turned to an LCS gamma ray 15 and emitted to the right side in the figure. An atomic nucleus in a sample 100 absorbs the LCS gamma ray 15 and emits an NRF gamma ray 21 by nuclear resonant scattering. The NRF gamma ray 21 is detected by an NRF gamma ray detector (gamma ray detection part) 22. The rotary wavelength plate (polarization direction switching part) 14 controls a polarization direction of the vertically polarized laser beam 13. Especially, the rotary wavelength plate 14 controls the polarization direction to two vertical directions without changing an optical axis of the laser beam 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
