<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more effectively switch heating modes. <P>SOLUTION: A heating cooker has a heating chamber, a waveguide, a microwave supply means, a radiation part, and a conductive element part. A cooking object is placed in the heating chamber, and the waveguide is connected to the inside of the heating chamber through a via hole. The microwave supply means supplies microwaves to the inside of the waveguide. The radiation part is composed of conductive materials, has a connection shaft which penetrates the via hole and a radiation element arranged at the connection shaft, and guides the microwave which is supplied into the waveguide from the microwave supply means into the heating chamber.
