<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent large hydraulic force in an oil chamber from reaching to a bushing and an oil seal for an outer tube and an inner tube, thus improving oil leakage toughness. <P>SOLUTION: In a hydraulic shock absorber 10, upper and lower springs 42A, 42B and a free piston 43 sandwiched between the upper and lower springs 42A, 42B are arranged between a piston 41 provided on a piston rod 40 and an inner tube 12, in the inner tube 12, and the spring strength of the upper spring 42A and the lower spring 42B is set such that a shift volume of the free piston 43 is larger as compared with a reciprocating volume of a piston rod 40 into the oil chamber 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
