<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the lowering of a wheel speed based on longitudinal acceleration being applied to a vehicle body and the longitudinal acceleration which is based on the wheel speed, and to accurately restrict the engine brake when the lowering of the wheel speed and a slip are detected. <P>SOLUTION: A differential value ΔG between the longitudinal acceleration GB being applied to the vehicle body and the longitudinal acceleration Gw based on the wheel speed is computed. In a state where an absolute value of the differential value change ratio does not exceed a set threshold value for a predetermined time just before an accelerator is changed from ON to OFF, a determination that stability of the differential value ΔG is secured is made, and the longitudinal acceleration GB and the longitudinal acceleration Gw are renewed as a first reference value and a second reference value. In the case wherein the first reference value and the second reference value are renewed, when the accelerator is changed from ON to OFF, the differential value ΔG after the first reference value and the second reference value are renewed keeps for a set time a difference which is more than a set value corrected by subtracting the reference value Gw from the first reference value GB, and in the case wherein the OFF state of the accelerator continued for a set time, a determination that the wheel speed is lowered is made, and fuel cut is inhibited. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
