<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retarding pressure-sensitive adhesive and a flame-retarding pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, not using a halogen-based flame retardant or antimony having problems in environmental protection and human body safety (suspicion of carcinogenicity), and having compatibly both high flame retardancy and excellent adhesiveness. <P>SOLUTION: The flame-retarding pressure-sensitive adhesive contains an acrylic ester copolymer, ammonium polyphosphate, aluminum hydroxide, aliphatic polyhydric alcohols as essential components, and may contain a tackifier resin; wherein, with respect to 100 pts.wt acrylic ester copolymer, the content of aliphatic polyhydric alcohols and aliphatic polyhydric alcohol derivatives is 18-55 pts.wt, the content of the ammonium polyphosphate is 50-115 pts.wt, and the content of the aluminum hydroxide is 40-85 pts.wt, and with respect to 100 pts.wt of the total amount of the acrylic ester copolymer, the aliphatic polyvalent alcohols and the tackifier resin, the total amount of the ammonium polyphosphate and the aluminum hydroxide is 60-150 pts.wt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
