摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify inspection work by automatically inspecting the function of a hydrant device without spraying fire-extinguishing water onto a road. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrant device 10 includes an automatic pressure regulating valve 58, a hydrant valve 56, a hydrant valve 55 for the time of inspections, a switching valve 70A, normal position holding piping 98, an inspection control valve 100 and a discharge water pressure sensor 104. Normally, pressurized fire-extinguishing water is supplied from water supply piping 22 to one side of a piston 90 housed in a cylinder chamber 88 of the switching valve 70A to keep a normal position. When performing an inspection, a remote inspection valve 100 is controlled to be open, the piston 90 is stroked by discharge of the pressurized fire-extinguishing water in the cylinder chamber 88 to switch the switching valve 70A from the normal position to an inspection position, the hydrant 55 for inspections is controlled to be open and the fire-extinguishing water is made to flow to a drain pipe 80. The discharge water pressure sensor 104 detects pressure on the inflow port side of the switching valve 70A as discharge water pressure when performing an inspection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
