<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing device allowing a master operation module to read only necessary data using an internal memory with a reduced capacity by various access methods. <P>SOLUTION: A data processing device comprises: CPU12; a master operation module 14; an internal memory 20A directly accessible from the master operation module; and a data transfer part 13 for transferring data from an external memory 18 to the internal memory. The internal memory includes: two or more page storage areas logically divided in page units; a write address conversion part 22 for writing transferred data with conversion into an internal memory address performed; a read address conversion part 23 for reading data with a read address converted into an internal memory address; and a state transition control part 24.
