PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wooden decorative floor material having surface grooves formed therein, which is comfortable for the soles of a person walking thereon, free from a fear of damaging hosiery and stockings by a corner portion of each groove upper edge, excellent in design, and facilitates cleaning of the interior of the grooves. SOLUTION: The wooden decorative floor material having the surface grooves formed therein, is obtained by sticking a wooden face veneer 2 on a wooden substrate 1 to form a floor material main body 3, decorative longitudinal grooves 4 in a direction almost in parallel with a wooden fiber direction of the wooden face veneer 2, and forming decorative transverse grooves 5 in a direction almost perpendicular to the decorative longitudinal grooves 4. According to the wooden decorative floor material thus obtained, each decorative longitudinal groove 4 has curved surfaces in a cross section perpendicular to its groove direction. Further, each decorative transverse groove 5 is formed such that its groove upper edge corner 6 has a convex surface O and its groove bottom 7 has a concave surface D in a cross section perpendicular to its groove direction, whereby a groove wall surface 8 extending from the groove upper edge corner 6 to the groove bottom 7 is shaped like the ess.
