A method for providing a scrolling mechanism may include receiving an indication of a stroke event at a display generating a content view of at least a portion of a content page, classifying the stroke event based on characteristics of the stroke event, and determining whether to generate a scroll enhancement on the display based on a classification of the stroke event. The stroke event may initiate scrolling over the content page to alter the content view. A corresponding apparatus and computer program product are also provided. |
