The planetary piston internal combustion engine comprises a shell casing, an end-sided side window, and an output-sided side window, in which a piston (1) rotates on an eccentric shaft with formation of three working areas that are separated from each other and the piston interacts with the side windows over flat surfaces (14). The working areas are sealed against each other by sealing elements and an oil chamber with multiple oil supplying profiles is arranged inside the piston. The piston is joined from a piston half end-side (2) and a piston half output-side (3). An independent claim is also included for a piston for a planetary piston internal combustion engine.
