<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dryer that employs a desiccant rotor which rotates with a moisture absorption agent being carried on as a means for absorbing and discharging moisture when drying laundry in a tank and that is capable of recycling heat that is generated when the desiccant rotor discharges humidity, thereby allowing effective use of heat. <P>SOLUTION: In a dryer comprising a desiccant dehumidifier for performing a drying process of laundry in a tank, the desiccant dehumidifier comprises: an air channel for absorbing and discharging moisture in air introduced from the tank and sending dry air back to the tank; and a metallic condenser for condensing moisture in high temperature humid air. The condenser is configured to have channels in which high temperature humid air can be chilled by heat exchange with outside air, and the outside air having an elevated temperature due to the heat exchange can be combined with air that is sent back to the tank. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
