摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which enhances operation flexibility with respect to a connection of a secondary battery pack in a power storage system having a configuration where the plurality of secondary battery packs are arranged in parallel. <P>SOLUTION: The power storage system includes a plurality of secondary battery packs and upper devices. The secondary battery pack each has: a secondary battery; charge switch means to turn on and off a charge path to an secondary battery; discharge switch means to turn on and off a discharge path from the secondary battery; and current-limiting means to make the secondary battery discharge while limiting a current to a constant value or less. The upper device, when switching the secondary battery pack to be connected to an input and output of a system from a second secondary battery pack to a first secondary battery pack of which voltage is higher than the second secondary battery pack, makes the charge switch means of the second secondary battery pack turn off the charge path in a state of making the current-limiting means of the first secondary battery pack discharge while limiting a current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
