<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting/lowering device providing protection effect of a spring member and enhancing duration of service and reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The lifting/lowering device comprises: a base main body having an accommodation space; a slide assembly provided in the accommodation space; a lifting/lowering support base provided to the slide assembly; a gear set interlocked with the lifting/lowering support base; and a spring member. The gear set includes a first gear and a second gear; the first gear is smaller than the second gear.
