<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for a light-emitting element suitable for low voltage driving of the light-emitting element and for improvement of emission efficiency and durability. <P>SOLUTION: The material for a light-emitting element contains 0.5-10 mass% of impurities which satisfy any two or more conditions out of three conditions [I]-[III]. [I] Ionization potential Ip(1) of the material for a light-emitting element and ionization potential Ip(2) of the impurities satisfy a relation Ip(1)≤Ip(2). [II] Electron affinity Ea(1) of the material for a light-emitting element and electron affinity Ea(2) of the impurities satisfy a relation Ea(1)≥Ea(2). [III] Excitation energy in triplet state of the material for a light-emitting element T<SB POS="POST">1</SB>(1) and excitation energy in triplet state of the impurities T<SB POS="POST">1</SB>(2) satisfy a relation T<SB POS="POST">1</SB>(1)≤T<SB POS="POST">1</SB>(2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
