AUTOMATIC TRANSACTION APPARATUS AND AUTOMATIC TRANSACTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transaction system for carrying out automatic transaction after making biometric authentication through a portable communication terminal by user's option by transmitting account data from a portable communication terminal to an automatic transaction apparatus.

SOLUTION: A portable communication terminal (1) has a memory (12-2) that stores plural kinds of information of account data, biological information and certificate of the account data and the biological information. A biometric authentication unit (10) performs personal identification and validity check of the biological information based on the registered certificate of the biological information. When the personal identification is satisfactorily completed, a non-contact communication unit (16) transmits the registered account data and the validity check result to an automatic transaction apparatus (2). Responding to the selection of a service using the portable communication terminal through a transaction selection display displayed on a customer operation section (23), the automatic transaction apparatus (2) displays account data on the customer operation section (23), and updates selectable transaction conditions based on the validity check result.
