<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection type LED matrix unit with a high degree of freedom of a layout, capable of planarly connecting a plurality of LED matrix units with each other and planarly expanding the light emitting surface. <P>SOLUTION: By fitting a pair of connection pins formed on the right end face of a housing 11 of one connection type LED matrix unit 10 and a pair of connection holes formed on the left end face of a housing 21 of the other connection type LED matrix unit 20, the connection type LED matrix units 10 and 20 are planarly connected with each other. Then, since a circuit pattern 13 on the side of one housing 11 and a circuit pattern 23 on the side of the other housing 21 are electrically connected with each other through connector projection parts 15A, 15A... and connector recessed parts 15B, 15B..., respective LED chips 12, 12... and LED chips 22, 22... arrayed laterally and longitudinally on the connection type LED matrix units 10 and 20 can be lighted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
