<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooler for cooling a mechanical seal that has superior cooling efficiency and does not produce an unusual sound by vibration of a pump or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The cooler for cooling the mechanical seal includes a sealed tube having an inflow port and an outflow port for cooling water, a heat-transfer pipe in which high temperature fluid flows, and a holder.
