METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING HEAT EXCHANGER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for quickly manufacturing a heat exchanger at a low manufacturing cost without causing such defects as fin deformation or fin pitch disorder, and to provide an apparatus for manufacturing the same.

SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a heat exchanger is provided for mounting fins by moving a tube 1 in the longitudinal direction continuously at a predetermined speed or intermittently at a predetermined pitch relative to the fins to be mounted. The apparatus for manufacturing the heat exchanger is provided for mounting the fins on the outer periphery of the tube 1 by fitting the tube 1 into a tube insertion groove of the fins held at a fin holder 121, and mounting a plurality of fins on the outer periphery of the tube 1 at a predetermined pitch by sequentially mounting the fins according to the relative movement between the tube 1 and the fin holder 121.
