<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent zinc-rich coating powder for forming an undercoat and coating powder for forming a topcoat from mixing with each other or contaminating each other, so as to make an operation of forming a coating film simpler. <P>SOLUTION: A cast iron pipe is heated prior to applying zinc-rich coating powder for forming an undercoat onto the outer face thereof, and thereafter the zinc-rich coating powder is applied onto the outer face of the cast iron pipe having been heated. Subsequently, different coating powder for forming a topcoat is applied over the zinc-rich coating powder, to allow the zinc-rich coating powder and the different coating power to melt by virtue of the heat remaining in the cast iron pipe, whereby a multilayered coating film comprising the undercoat and the topcoat is formed on the outer face of the cast iron pipe. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
