<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for tire molding manufacturing a pneumatic tire, capable of reducing a length of a spew remaining in a projection after vulcanization in the pneumatic tire including the projection for generating a turbulence flow, improving work efficiency by suppressing variation of the length of the spew and preventing deterioration of original performance of the projection. <P>SOLUTION: A side mold for molding a sidewall part of a raw tire which is a tire before vulcanization is provided. The side mold includes: a surface formation part forming a surface of the sidewall part of the tire; a first recess recessed from the surface formation part toward the outer side in the width direction; and a second recess recessed from the bottom of the first recess toward the outer side in the tire width direction. A first groove recessed from the surface formation part toward the outer side in the tire width direction is formed on the surface formation part, and a second groove communicated with the second recess and the first groove is formed on the first recess. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
