<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To selectively produce four kinds of carbon nanohorn aggregates. <P>SOLUTION: When the carbon nanohorn aggregate is produced by laser ablation in a gas atmosphere, any of helium, nitrogen, argon, or dry air is used as the kind of the gas, pressure is fixed to one atmosphere and a gas flow rate is controlled. Thereby, respective carbon nanohorn aggregates of a seed type, a bud type, a dahlia type, and a petal type are individually selectively produced, and further their particle diameters can be controlled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
