<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the charging stability of a phosphor layer and achieve a high-quality plasma display. <P>SOLUTION: In a plasma display device, stored charges accumulated on a surface of a red phosphor layer, a green phosphor layer, and a blue phosphor layer are all positive, the red phosphor layer contains both first phosphor particles composed of phosphor particles only and second phosphor particles whose surfaces are covered with oxide, wherein both the first and second phosphor particles are composed of the identical phosphor particles, and the phosphor particles are YPxV<SB POS="POST">(1-x)</SB>O<SB POS="POST">4</SB>:Eu. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
