[Problem] To more appropriately determine a part to be incised by considering the functional level of the liver of a patient. [Solution] A morphological image, which shows the shape of the liver including blood vessels therein, and a functional image, which shows the functional level at each point of the liver, are acquired. A blood vessel area, which shows a blood vessel controlling the liver, is extracted from the morphological image. Then, a specific partial area in the blood vessel area thus extracted and the controlled area of the liver that is controlled by the blood vessel in said partial area are determined. In this step, the processing for determining the partial area and/or the processing for determining the controlled area are conducted using the functional image. |
