摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cross-talk caused on a screen when a display with primary colors and complementary color is carried out. SOLUTION: In an SSC correcting part 40, using three primary color signals DR, DG, and DB, a color system for every pixel is discriminated, and the signal level difference in the colors constituting the pixels is calculated. An integral value is obtained for every pixel column by integrating the signal level difference in the column direction of a display panel part 15 by one screen for every discriminated color system. Using this integrated value, three primary color signals are corrected so that the primary color component is increased or the complimentary color is decreased, and the complementary color component is decreased or the opposite color component is increased, with respect to the complementary color component. Moreover, the number of the pixels of each color system is counted by one screen in the column direction, and an image signal of the image with the number of the pixels counted is corrected on the basis of the counted value. In a DDC correcting part 42, the color with the highest color component is detected for every pixel, and the detected chromatic signal level is corrected so that the chromatic component is increased according to the level difference with other chromatic signal levels, and thus, deterioration of the color purity of the color with the highest color component can be prevented. Cross-talk is prevented by driving a display panel part 15 using the three primary color signals after correction.
