PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable which has excellent heat resistant and mechanical characteristics by bending and does not increase transmission loss. SOLUTION: This optical fiber cable has an axial portion and plural partition plate portions within a space enclosed by a covering layer and its section has a shape formed radially with the plural partition plate portions toward the inner peripheral surface of the covering layer from the axial portion. The inside of the space is compartmentalized to plural partition line grooves by the partition plate portions having expanded portions formed at the front ends in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the covering layer and couplings for connecting the expanded portions and the axial portions and >=2 pieces of optical fibers are dispersively arranged within the partition line grooves.
