DISPLAY UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display unit enabling light emission from at least circumference of its display area to enhance its display quality. SOLUTION: The display unit contains a display section permitting light emission from at least circumference of its display area displaying a display pattern, and a prism member located around the display area of the display section to refract the light. It is characterized by being provided with an optical film inserted in between the display section and the prism member which collaborates with the prism member to allow the interference of the light from the display section.
