The method involves charging the compressed gas accumulators (114,116) by generation of gas in the compressed gas reservoir using located electrode that applies electrical voltage to a electrochemical pumping cell such as electrochemical Nernst cell (120). The unloading consumption of gas in compressed gas reservoir is performed by connecting two electrodes through an electrical circuit in electrically conductive state. The electrodes are platinum electrode consisting of oxygen ion-leading electrolytes such as yttrium-stabilized zirconium oxide. |
