PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool capable of eliminating joint cement of a large flat face and a corner part with one tool. SOLUTION: This joint eliminating tool comprises a cutting edge part 1 of plate shape at the tip, and a handle part 2 for holding the cutting edge part 2. The cutting edge part 1 is formed in almost trapezoidal shape broadened toward the tip and has rake faces 3, 4 at two corners. The first rake face 3 is provided at the inclined face of the trapezoid, and the second rake face 4 is provided at the base 5 of the trapezoid. The tool is constituted to allow a center axis 1' in a perpendicular direction from the base 5 of the trapezoid of the cutting edge part, and a center axis 2' of the handle part to intersect with an incline so that an angle formed by the first rake face 3 provided at the inclined face, and the lengthwise center axis 2' of the handle part exceeds 90 deg. and that an angle formed by the second rake face 4 provided at the base of the trapezoid, and the center axis 2' is less than 90 deg..
