METHOD AND COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR SIMULATING TIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a deterioration in calculation accuracy while suppressing an increase in calculation time in the analysis of a tire using a computer.

SOLUTION: A method for simulating the tire includes: a model creation step (step S101) of creating a response analysis model for obtaining a dynamic response of the tire; a power history setting step (step S102) of setting a history of the power acting on the response analysis model in a ground-contact region of the response analysis model; a displacement history setting step (step S103) of obtaining a history of the displacement of the response analysis model in the ground-contact region on the basis of the history of the power; a forced displacement input setting step (step S104) of setting an input of the forced displacement to be input in the response analysis model on the basis of the history of the displacement; and a response calculation step (step S105) of obtaining a dynamic response of the response analysis model by giving the set input of the forced displacement to the ground-contact region.
