<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering force control device capable of adding proper steering auxiliary force with a simple constitution and improving stability of a vehicle without generating an uncontrollable steering wheel during acceleration time or starting time of the vehicle when vehicle attitude becomes unstable. <P>SOLUTION: The proper steering auxiliary force is added based on wheel speed of a left front wheel detected by a wheel speed sensor during the vehicle starting time or vehicle acceleration time, wheel speed of a right front wheel detected by the wheel speed sensor and a variation ratio of a wheel speed difference between the left front wheel and the right front wheel when the vehicle attitude becomes unstable when the left front wheel or the right front wheel idles during the vehicle starting time or the vehicle acceleration time on a μ split road surface, and the uncontrollable steering wheel is avoided during starting time or acceleration time of the vehicle on the μ split road surface with the simple constitution and without causing an increase of cost, to improve stability of the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
