<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulation material for a floor, suitable for the floor and capable of improving workability and suppressing the generation of waste by omitting width reducing work on the spot. <P>SOLUTION: Since side parts 22 which are flexible in the width direction, that is, easy to shrink in the width direction are provided on both sides in the width direction of a center part 21 which is strong against compressive force in the width direction, that is, hard to shrink in the width direction, when the compressive force in the width direction is made to act on a heat insulation material 10A for the floor, the side parts 22 are compressed to reduce the dimension in the width direction and the heat insulation material 10A for the floor is attached without reducing the width.
