<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gauge with which it can be very easy to choose a helmet. <P>SOLUTION: A penetrating opening 4 is formed in a sheet member 3 and the opening 4 is the same shape as the horizontal sectional view of a head contact part of a helmet contacting the head 5. Explanation parts 11 showing the right wearing condition when the head 5 fits into the opening 4 are provided on the surface of the sheet member 3.
