<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for tire tread, which achieves improved driving stability, low rolling resistance, and wear resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The rubber composition is obtained by blending 5-70 pts.wt of carbon black and 5-70 pts.wt of silica with 100 pts.wt of diene-based rubber containing 60-95 wt.% of styrene-butadiene rubber and 5-40 wt.% of butadiene rubber, wherein the total amount of the fillers containing the carbon black and silica is 50-80 pts.wt. The rubber composition is characterized in that the butadiene rubber has: a weight average molecular weight of 700,000 to 900,000; a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of 1.5 to 3.0, the molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) being obtained from the weight average molecular weight (Mw) and the number-average molecular weight (Mn); and a viscosity of a toluene solution at 25°C of 300 to 1,000 mPa s. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
