Disclosed in the present application are a method, apparatus and system for adjusting transmission power and indicating the same, which are for use in a system adopting the HSUPA technology to ensure the demodulation performance of E-UCCH on the network side. The method is as follows: an RNC enables UE to be informed, by way of signalling, of the receiving demodulation threshold of the E-UCCH information on an E-PUCH, then the UE sets the initial transmission power on the E-PUCH as a threshold transmission power corresponding to the above receiving demodulation threshold, so that when the UE subsequently carries out an incremental adjustment on the above initial transmission power to acquire a target transmission power on the E-PUCH, even if the target transmission power is reduced as compared with the authorized transmission power acquired by the UE on the E-PUCH, it will still be capable of giving priority to ensuring the demodulation performance of the E-UCCH information on the E-PUCH, thereby improving the system's service reliability. At the same time, the present application provides an apparatus and system corresponding to the method described above.
