According to the present invention, an anti-reflective glass substrate production method is provided which comprises the steps of: (a) providing a glass substrate; and (b) forming a porous structure, having pores on the nanoscale, on the surface of the glass substrate by covering and etching the glass substrate by using a solution able to etch the glass substrate. A glass substrate having anti-reflective properties, anti-doping properties and ultra-hydrophilic properties can be provided by means of a straightforward process which, in contrast to the prior art, does not involve the formation of a separate coating layer and does not use harmful chemical substances and involves a relatively low temperature.
