<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device and an image processing system that enable a viewer to view video content with image quality that approximately meets the design of the creator of video content. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises an input section for accepting input of control information for controlling the operation of a display device, an addition section for adding the control information input to the input section to image data, and a recording section for saving the image data to which the control information has been added.
