<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition used between a polarizing plate and a liquid crystal cell, capable of restraining polarizing plate performance from varying under a high temperature and high humidity condition, and capable of enhancing polarizer durability. <P>SOLUTION: This adhesive composition contains an organic acid expressed by General Formula of X-L-(R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>)<SB POS="POST">n</SB>, and is used between the polarizing plate and the liquid crystal cell, wherein X represents an acid group having 5.5 or less of acid dissociation constant, L represents a single bond, or a divalent or more connection group, R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>represents a 6-30C alkyl group, a 6-30C alkenyl group, a 6-30C alkynyl group, a 10-30C aryl group, or a 6-30C heterocyclic group, and may have further a substituent, and n is 1 when L is the single bond and is (the valency of L-1) when L is the connection group of divalency or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
