PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of guiding plural users so that the users' faces become adjacent.

SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus PM having an imaging unit 198 and a display unit 190 includes: a confirmation image display control unit 112 for displaying a confirmation image corresponding to an obtained image on the display unit in real time as animation; and a cursor image display control unit 114 for obtaining face position data indicating the position of a subject face on the confirmation image and displaying a cursor image indicating the subject face on the confirmation image on the basis of the obtained image and the face position data. When the confirmation image includes plural faces, the cursor image display control unit 114 determines whether the plural faces are in a predetermined positional relationship on the basis of the face position data. The cursor image display control unit 114 displays a first cursor image indicating the plural faces separately on the confirmation image when determining that the predetermined positional relationship is not formed, and performs cursor integration display processing for displaying a second cursor image indicating the plural faces integrally on the confirmation image when determining that the predetermined positional relationship is formed.
