<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprayer including rechargeable primary and secondary batteries which can be selectively used. <P>SOLUTION: The sprayer includes a liquid tank 2, a motor, a pump driven by the motor to suck and discharge liquid in the liquid tank 2, a nozzle portion 50 connected to the discharge port of the pump, a housing 10 for accommodating the motor and the pump, and a battery box (20) detachably connected to the housing 10. A primary battery box for accommodating a primary battery and a secondary battery box 20 for accommodating a secondary battery can be selectively mounted as the battery box. The liquid tank 2 is mounted in the lower part of the housing 10. A grip portion 11 to be gripped by a worker with one hand is provided in the upper part of the housing 10.
