<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collagen production promoter usable for retardation and prevention of aging of skin by facilitating collagen production of human skin fibroblast in everyday life, and treatment of disease due to abnormal decomposition of collagen or degradation of ability to produce collagen, and safe for a living body. <P>SOLUTION: This collagen production promoter contains chondroitin sulfate as an active constituent.
