<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acceleration sensor that can be used to speedily and accurately detect a slope of a road. <P>SOLUTION: The acceleration sensor 1 that includes acceleration detection means 30 of detecting acceleration while mounted on a vehicle, and outputs the acceleration detected by the acceleration detection means 30 as an output value in a set output range.
