摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily manufacturing an electrophoretic display device in which substrates are laminated by forming an adhesive layer on the both substrates, the method capable of suppressing reduction in the adhesive force and reduction in display contrast. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes steps of: forming a plurality of cells composed of an insulating structure on a first electrode substrate; forming a first adhesive layer on an upper face of the structure; bringing a second electrode substrate into contact with the upper face of the structure where the first adhesive layer is formed, followed by firmly sticking a part of the first electrode substrate with a part of the second electrode substrate; forming a second adhesive layer on the surface of the second electrode substrate by peeling a non-sticking part of the second electrode substrate from the upper face of the structure so as to transfer a part of the first adhesive layer onto the surface of the second electrode substrate; filling the cells with an electrophoretic ink; and laminating the first electrode substrate with the second electrode substrate by adhering again the first adhesive layer in the non-sticking part to the second adhesive layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
