<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system capable of displaying accurate view angle information even with an interchangeable lens whose focal distance varies with a focusing action. <P>SOLUTION: A camera system 1 comprises a camera body 3 and an interchangeable lens 2 which can be attached to/detached from the camera body 3. The interchangeable lens 2 includes: lens information storing means 10a for storing lens specific information including focal distance information for the interchangeable lens 2; a focus lens 4b; a focus encoder 9 for detecting the position thereof; and a lens microcomputer 10 for calculating a second focal distance by using a first focal distance acquired by using the focal distance information and a detection result of the focus encoder 9. The camera body 3 includes: an imaging element 11; a memory 16 for storing the screen size thereof; a camera microcomputer 12 for calculating a photographing view angle by using the second focal distance and the screen size of the imaging element 11; and display means 15 for displaying the photographing view angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
