<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device for effectively removing, in a middle of an air flow in the image forming device, VOC such as toluene, styrene, and siloxane, and nano particles (UFP:Ultra Fine Particles) generated from a press roller used in a fixing device. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises: a fan for exhausting cooling air for cooling the fixing unit from the fixing unit; an exhaust duct for exhausting the cooling air exhausted from the fixing unit to the outside of the device body; and a filter unit arranged in the exhaust duct. Since the filter unit includes a filter which is impregnated with silicone oil, the siloxane substances and UFP are efficiently adsorbed to the filter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
