<p>The method involves removing protruding portions of damaged fluorocarbon insulation layer (1) of electrical wire and applying a dissolved fluoropolymer on the damaged area of the electric wire using perfluorinated solvent. An airtight lockable hollow chamber (7) is attached around the damaged area and vacuum formation is repeatedly performed in the damaged area until the solvent is vaporized.</p>
